The husband and wife, along with their respective attorneys, commit to resolving marital issues without resorting to litigation. This “non-litigated” divorce approach attempts to utilize creative solutions to create a win-win result for both parties.

In Collaborative Divorce, attorneys representing the parties agree to withdraw from representation if either party find it necessary to litigate the matter in court.

Collaborative Divorce requires a commitment by both parties and their counsel to voluntarily disclose all information which may be relied on by the parties in negotiating a resolution of their marital issues.
